I agree with this quote by Dr. Honig. Parents are the first teachers for their children. I have a toddler that imitates everything that she sees. I take the opportunity to model language and also behaviors I would like her to emulate.
Dr Honig said it best. Parents are the first teachers for their children as children pick up habits and beliefs from what they learn at home. Parent involvement can have either a positive or negative impact the development of a child.
This quote is so true and I have seen both sides and care honestly say the students that struggle the most are the ones that have little or no parent involvement.

ReplyDeleteI agree with that quote. Family is the first interaction you have as a child and their influence is very powerful.
